1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Elimu Academy's school management system ("Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Portal.
2. Description of Service
Elimu Academy provides an online school management platform that enables:
- Student enrollment and record management
- Academic performance tracking and reporting
- Communication between school, parents, and teachers
- Fee management and payment processing

3. User Accounts
Account Creation
Access to the Portal requires an account. Accounts are created by school administrators and assigned to authorized parents, students, and staff members.

4. Acceptable Use
When using our Portal, you agree NOT to:
- Share your login credentials with others
- Attempt to access accounts or data not assigned to you

- Use the Portal for any illegal purposes
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Portal
- Copy, modify, or distribute Portal content without permission
5. Content and Intellectual Property
All content on the Portal, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Elimu Academy or its content suppliers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
6. Payment Terms
For fee-related transactions through our Portal:
- Fees are due according to the school's published fee schedule
- Late payments may incur additional charges as per school policy
- Refunds are subject to our refund policy
- We use secure payment processing for online transactions
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elimu Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Portal. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to access the Portal.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous Portal availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Portal for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Portal if you violate these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Portal will immediately cease.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
